The King is very docile and submissive to Vivaldi's dominating personality. While he does not like it when faceless are executed, he gets 'excited' over Vivaldi ordering people to be beheaded. He is a pleasant person who is always nice to Alice. His personality comes out more when not near Vivaldi as he is able to express himself more. However, he is still pretty timid, especially compared to the rest of the role holders.
Once he had a lover. Vivaldi wanted to kill her, but the King convinced Vivaldi to spare her life. She is now living in town.
Though his eyes are always closed, he does have a discernible face and is indeed a role holder.
- The king is not in the musical or revival
- He apparently likes the cruel side of Vivaldi, the side that chops heads. He also has several lovers which is one of the frustrations Vivaldi has.
